Hartlen Point Forces Golf Club Tournament Booking Policy- 2010
Military units/groups receive priority when booking events at Hartlen Point.
Military green fee rates for the 2010 season will be $30 (HST included). This rate will be used for all military tournaments held in the 2010 season.
Tournament participants who are Hartlen Point Members may use a membership round to participate.
Hartlen Point will accept reservations for 2010 military golf tournaments beginning November 1, 2009.
All non-military groups will be able to make reservations for tournaments in the 2010 golf season on March 1, 2010, based on availability.
All reservations will be accepted on a first come-first serve basis.
All groups must provide a contact name/ tournament organizer that will be responsible for the reservation. The Tournament Organizer is responsible for collecting fees from their players or guests for all groups over 20 people and is responsible for payment on the day of the tournament.
Participants in tournaments of less than 20 people can pay individually on the day of the tournament at the Pro Shop.
Shotgun starts are required for tournaments over 80 people. Shotgun starts may also be required for smaller groups to maximize the use of the golf course or to maintain pace of play.
Requests for specific tee times may be accommodated based on availability.
All players must adhere to the Hartlen Point dress code policy. The Dress Code policy is available at http://www.hartlenpoint.com/index.php/home.
It is the responsibility of the Tournament Organizer to inform all participants of the above Dress Code The Tournament organizer is responsible for the behavior and actions of its players and guests. Hartlen Point Golf Club reserves the right to eject any player or guest for behavior that is deemed offensive, or performing any act that may endanger the well-being of other guests or staff, or willfully causing damage to the golf course, its buildings or the surrounding property.
Any damage to the Hartlen Point golf cars, accidental or otherwise, is the responsibility of the persons who rented the car.
Confirmation of final number of participants must be provided to the General Manager no later than 7 days prior to the date of the tournament. If notice is not given than the organizer will be charged for the number of players that is originally booked.
Tournament participants must be prepared to play on the day of the tournament regardless of the weather conditions. The Tournament will be played rain or shine, unless Hartlen Point deems the course to be unplayable or lightening is a factor. In such an event, The General Manager and Tournament Organizer will agree on a rain check procedure.
In accordance with Nova Scotia Law, all alcoholic beverages must be purchased at the Golf Course. Private coolers are not permitted.
